USU Faculty of Nursing Strengthens Commitment to Integrity Zone toward WBBM The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) strengthened its commitment to developing an Integrity Zone (ZI) toward a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) through a coordination meeting involving faculty leaders, the ZI-WBBM team, and relevant stakeholders. The meeting served as a strategic step toward supporting bureaucratic reform, strengthening transparent and accountable governance, and improving the quality of institutional services in line with SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. 13 August 2026

Faculty of Nursing USU Encourages the Academic Community to Donate Blood, Promoting Humanitarian Solidarity The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKep USU) invites the public and USU academic community to participate in a blood donation drive on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. WIB at the Faculty of Nursing USU Pavilion. PKKMB 2026 Officially Opens, FKep USU Welcomes New Students to Pursue Quality Nursing Education The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKep USU), welcomed new students at the opening of the 2026 Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) of USU. Nurse Profession Program Students at the Faculty of Nursing USU Strengthen Community Health Promotion through Digital Education Innovation Students of Group 4 of the Nurse Profession Program at the Faculty of Nursing USU, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Evi Karota Bukit, S.Kp., MNS., developed a QR Code-based health education innovation as part of their Community Nursing practice in Tanjung Rejo Subdistrict, Medan Selayang. This innovation expands community access to health information while supporting SDG 3, SDG 4, and SDG 9. 11 August 2026

Faculty of Nursing USU Strengthens Its Contribution to the SDGs through Springer Nature International Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development Goals Faculty of Nursing USU lecturer Prof. Dr. Evi Karota, SKp., MNS., CIIQA, participated in an international forum organized by Springer Nature that discussed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The activity strengthens the Faculty of Nursing USU’s academic capacity, educational and healthcare innovation, and global collaborative network, particularly in supporting SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 9, and SDG 17. 11 August 2026

Faculty of Nursing USU Holds Preparatory Meeting for the Reaccreditation of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Profession Programs The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a preparatory meeting for the reaccreditation of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Profession Programs as part of its readiness for the LAM-PTKes accreditation process. Eight FKEP USU Alumni Selected for the International Nurses4Vienna Program Eight alumni of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKEP USU), have officially joined the Nurses4Vienna program as a pathway toward international nursing careers in Austria. The participants are currently undergoing German language training at FH Wien in Vienna to prepare for their future roles at healthcare facilities in Austria. 10 August 2026
