FKep USU, September 23, 2026 — The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara conducted the Post-Accreditation Monitoring and Evaluation of the Master's Program in Nursing (S-2) on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, starting at 10.00 WIB until completion, at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This strategic agenda was conducted based on the Invitation Letter of the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 2555/UN5.2.13.D/OT.02.03/2026 dated September 20, 2026.
This institutional evaluation activity was led directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB, and featured an assessor from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes), Prof. Dr. Hajjul Kamil, S.Kp., M.Kep. The meeting brought together faculty leaders, the quality assurance team, and lecturers managing the Master's Program, including Dr. Siti Zahara Nasution, Dr. Wardiyah Daulay, Iwan Rusdi, Prof. Dr. Evi Karota, Dr. Farida L.S Siregar, Mula Tarigan, Lufthiani, Dr. Cholina Trisa Siregar, Ismayadi, Erniyati, Dr. Sri Eka Wahyuni, Dr. Ikhsanuddin A. Harahap, and Jenny Marlindawani Purba.
The post-accreditation monitoring and evaluation also involved the active participation of faculty lecturers and education personnel, with all academic elements collaborating to review accreditation recommendations to ensure the fulfillment of academic documentation and the availability of supporting facilities.
The implementation of the post-accreditation monitoring and evaluation of the Master's Program in Nursing is closely related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through the fulfillment of quality standards and a sustainable postgraduate education curriculum. In addition, strengthening research competencies and specialized expertise at the S-2 level directly supports SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being by producing nursing master's graduates who are skilled and ready to lead improvements in the quality of public health services.
The entire series of monitoring and evaluation activities was officially concluded by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB. With the completion of this post-accreditation monitoring and evaluation stage, the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Sumatera Utara is optimistic that it can continue to maintain standards of academic excellence and organizational accountability while expanding its positive contribution to the development of nursing science and the sustainable improvement of public health.
