The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a Coordination Meeting on preparing the Integrity Zone toward a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucratic Area (ZI-WBBM) on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, starting at 11.00 WIB, in the Faculty of Nursing USU meeting room. This strategic agenda was conducted based on the Dean's Invitation Letter Number 2705/UN5.2.13.D/OT.02.03/2026 dated October 6, 2026, as a manifestation of accountability and an ongoing commitment to realizing clean and corruption-free higher education governance.

The evaluation and coordination activity was directly led by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing USU, Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB, together with the faculty leadership. The meeting was also attended by the Chairperson of ZI-WBBM, Dr. Cholina Trisa Siregar, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.KMB; Secretary Suriawan Harahap, S.T.; and the respective area teams.

The coordination meeting discussed concrete steps to fulfill the six enabling areas of ZI-WBBM 2026, covering change management, organizational process restructuring, human resource management, strengthening accountability, supervision, and improving the quality of public services. Through the slogan "Honest, Caring, Serving", the Faculty of Nursing USU reaffirmed its commitment to building a transparent, accountable, and quality-oriented service culture at all levels of academic and non-academic services.

The preparation for ZI-WBBM is closely related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through the implementation of anti-corruption monitoring systems, risk management, and transparent bureaucratic governance. In addition, this program supports SDG 4 on Quality Education through the digitalization of organizational processes and improvement of academic service standards, as well as SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being through producing excellent and trusted nursing graduates and services.

Through this coordination meeting, the Faculty of Nursing USU is optimistic that it can continuously strengthen all supporting documents and assessment indicators for WBBM. This integrated approach is expected to position the Faculty of Nursing USU as a pioneer in clean and professional institutional governance while providing a tangible impact on public health services more broadly.
