FKEP USU, September 29, 2026 — The Directorate of Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, organized the 2026 Roadshow for Socialization and Assistance in SINTA Data Updating and Synchronization for 16 faculties within Universitas Sumatera Utara. The socialization at the Faculty of Nursing was held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 11.00 to 12.00 WIB, at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Nursing. This strategic agenda referred to the Notification Letter of the Director of Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing Number 25614/UN5/Dir/DitP3I/HK.10/2026 dated September 28, 2026.

The socialization was officially delivered by the Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing Team of Universitas Sumatera Utara to support the accuracy of academic publication records. Through the letter, the faculty leadership was requested to coordinate participant attendance and facilitate supporting facilities such as a room, projector, and adequate internet network connection to ensure the smooth implementation of the assistance.
The SINTA synchronization assistance roadshow was scheduled to take place in stages from September 29 to October 1, 2026, covering all faculty units within Universitas Sumatera Utara. In addition to the Faculty of Nursing, the socialization series on the first day also covered the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Psychology, and Faculty of Dentistry, and was then continued at other faculties through the third day.
The implementation of SINTA data updating and synchronization is closely related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through strengthening the accountability of publication data and lecturers' academic records. In addition, the updating of an integrated scientific data system also supports SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through strengthening higher education research infrastructure, as well as SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals through the national integration of institutional academic publication data.
Through this SINTA account synchronization socialization and assistance activity, the Faculty of Nursing, together with all faculties at Universitas Sumatera Utara, is expected to strengthen the visibility of scientific works and the institution's academic reputation. The integration of updated research data is expected to accelerate scientific innovation and expand the impact of academics' community service on the wider community.
