LANGSA, October 5, 2026 — Secretary of the Nursing Professional Education Program, Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and Chair of ZI-WBK, Dr. Cholina Trisa Siregar, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.KMB, was assigned as a speaker at the Workshop on the Implementation of Integrity Zones toward Corruption-Free Areas (ZI-WBK). This academic and institutional activity was held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 08.00 WIB until completion, at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Samudra, Langsa.
The assignment as a speaker was carried out based on an official Assignment Letter from the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Number 2683/UN5.2.13.D/DL.13/2026, dated October 2, 2026. The assignment letter, electronically signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing USU, Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB, entrusted Dr. Cholina Trisa Siregar with sharing insights and strategies for implementing bureaucratic reform and clean institutional governance in higher education.
During the workshop, the presentation focused on practical steps and strategies for strengthening Integrity Zones toward Corruption-Free Areas within the university environment. The workshop aimed to encourage the establishment of transparent, accountable, and corruption-free academic institutional governance, as well as to prevent corrupt practices and abuse of authority at the faculty and higher education levels.

The knowledge-sharing and assistance activity for the implementation of ZI-WBK is closely related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through the implementation of clean and accountable bureaucratic governance. In addition, this collaboration also supports SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening partnerships among higher education institutions to improve the quality of educational governance.
Through fulfilling this assignment as a speaker, the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, continues to demonstrate its commitment to actively contributing to the development of integrity-based governance in higher education institutions. This synergy among institutions is expected to further strengthen academic excellence and clean institutional governance sustainably.
