The Master’s Program in Nursing Science at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is organizing the Scientific Competition of Nursing USU 2017 with the theme “Caring Approach to Improve the Quality of the Nursing Profession.”

POSTER COMPETITION THEME

General Theme:
“Caring Approach to Improve the Quality of the Nursing Profession”

Sub-themes:

1. The role of nurses in implementing creative, caring factors to improve the quality of the nursing profession.
2. Nursing interventions using creative, caring factors in nursing care services.

PARTICIPANTS

The participants of the Public Poster Competition as part of the Scientific Competition of Nursing USU 2017 are:

1. Participants must be Master’s students (S2) in Nursing from all public universities across Indonesia.
2. Participants may join individually or in a team of up to 3 members.
3. Each participant is allowed to submit only one poster.
4. Team members must come from the same university.
5. Participants must be registered for the public poster competition as part of this event.
6. Registration Period: May 15, 2017, until July 14, 2017.
   Registration Steps:
   a. Fill out the online registration form provided at the end of the competition requirements.
   b. Send an SMS notification confirming your registration by filling out the form and submitting it via email to 085296149747 using the format:
   Team Leader's Name_University_Specialization_Public Poster_Title
   c. The committee will send a confirmation SMS within 2 days after verifying the registration process.
7. Registration Fee: IDR 200,000

COMPETITION RULES

1. All submitted posters will be judged, and winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be announced at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
2. Winners will be selected in two phases:
   • Phase 1: Online selection, where the top 5 nominees will be announced on July 20, 2017.
   • Phase 2: Finalists will present their posters at the Faculty of Nursing USU on June 20–21, 2017.
   • The winners will be officially announced on July 24, 2017.
3. Participants must guarantee that the submitted poster is original and has not been published.
4. The organizing committee reserves the right to publish the winning posters with the author’s consent while acknowledging the author’s name and institution.
5. The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested.
