The Competency Examination Enrichment (UKOM) aims to improve the passing rate and prepare students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), to face the national competency exam. This activity is part of the work program of the Academic Advisor to the Dean, in coordination with the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Nursing USU, to improve the quality of graduates of the Professional Program in Nursing.
The enrichment program is scheduled to be held three times a year. During the program, students receive guidance and strategies to effectively answer competency exam questions while practicing questions related to the exam. This initiative involves all faculty members and alumni of the Faculty of Nursing USU. The exam questions used in this program are developed by faculty members who have undergone Item Development Training to create competency exam questions.

Through this enrichment program, it is hoped that the UKOM passing rate for students of the Faculty of Nursing USU, as well as the overall quality of its graduates, will improve significantly.
