The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Preparatory Meeting for the Reaccreditation of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Profession Programs on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. WIB in the Faculty of Nursing USU Meeting Room. The meeting was part of the reaccreditation preparation process and served as a coordination forum to ensure the readiness of the study programs’ accreditation instruments.
The meeting involved the LAM-PTKes Accreditation Instrument Preparation Team for the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Profession Programs at the Faculty of Nursing USU. The team was chaired by Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB, with Dr. Farida Linda Sari Siregar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep. serving as secretary. Many coordinators, members, and secretariat staff were also involved, including Iwan Rusdi, S.Kp., MNS.; Dr. Siti Zahara Nasution, S.Kp., MNS.; and Dr. Wardiyah Daulay, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep.

During the meeting, the team discussed the readiness of various components required for the reaccreditation process. The coordination was part of the Faculty of Nursing USU’s efforts to maintain the quality of educational provision, study program governance, and academic quality assurance systems within the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Profession Programs.
The activity is aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education through efforts to improve the quality of higher nursing education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through accountable and quality-oriented institutional governance. The Faculty of Nursing USU continues to promote structured, measurable, and sustainable academic processes to support the quality of nursing education.
