The Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKep USU) held its August 2026 Coordination Meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Nursing at USU. The meeting served as a coordination forum to discuss various strategic agendas in support of work program implementation and improvements in the quality of academic services within FKep USU.
The coordination meeting was attended by the Dean of FKep USU, Vice Dean, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, expert staff, heads of laboratories, the Head of Administration, and education personnel of FKep USU. The participation of representatives from various units demonstrated a shared commitment to fostering effective communication and ensuring the coordinated implementation of programs across different areas.
Through the August 2026 Coordination Meeting, FKep USU coordinated and aligned its efforts in implementing various faculty programs, including academic affairs, student affairs, research, community service, partnerships, and supporting administrative activities. The forum was part of efforts to establish planned, transparent, and responsive faculty governance that addresses the development needs of nursing education.
The August 2026 Coordination Meeting aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education through efforts to improve the quality of education delivery and higher education institutional management, as well as SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through the implementation of effective, accountable, and integrity-driven organizational governance. Through continuous coordination, FKep USU is committed to supporting the realization of excellent and competitive nursing education.
