The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKep USU), participated in the QS Analytics Workshop held online on Friday (August 7, 2026). The activity was part of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s agenda to enhance the understanding and utilization of QS Analytics as one of the supporting instruments for developing the university’s ranking and academic reputation strategies.

Through this workshop, FKep USU gained insights into the importance of utilizing data to assess institutional indicators and achievements. A data-driven approach can serve as a consideration in evaluating performance and formulating more targeted and measurable faculty development strategies, particularly in supporting the improvement of academic quality and visibility.
FKep USU’s participation in this activity is in line with the faculty’s commitment to supporting the improvement of educational quality, human resource development, and academic reputation. This is relevant to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education through efforts to improve the quality and governance of higher education, as well as SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, which is closely related to FKep USU’s role in education and the development of nursing workforce competencies.

The activity also supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration and coordination among faculties, study programs, and work units within USU. Through the proper utilization of QS Analytics data, FKep USU is expected to continue contributing to the development of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s academic strategies that are data-driven, sustainable, and oriented toward enhancing institutional reputation.
