The Faculty of Nursing of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received a visit from the Integrity Zone Development Team of the Faculty of Letters and Culture of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo led by the Dean Prof. Dra. Nonny Basalama, M.A., Ph.D on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the context of benchmarking activities. This visit aims to learn more about implementing the Integrity Zone at the USU Faculty of Nursing and exchange experiences in building a culture of integrity in the faculty environment.

The benchmarking event began with remarks from the Dean of the USU Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Dudut Tanjung, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB. In his remarks, Dr. Dudut expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Integrity Zone Development Team of the Faculty of Literature and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, and hoped that this benchmarking activity could benefit both parties.

The benchmarking event ended with a question-and-answer session and discussion between the Integrity Zone Development Team of the Faculty of Letters and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, and the leadership and staff of the USU Faculty of Nursing. Both parties hope that this benchmarking activity will motivate them to continue improving the quality of Integrity Zone implementation in each faculty.

After the discussion, the Integrity Zone Development Team of the Faculty of Letters and Culture of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo had the opportunity to see firsthand the various innovations made by the USU Faculty of Nursing to support the implementation of the Integrity Zone, such as online administrative services, whistleblowing reporting systems, and comfortable student waiting rooms.

The visit of the Integrity Zone Development Team of the Faculty of Literature and Culture of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo to the USU Faculty of Nursing is proof of the two faculties' commitment to building a culture of integrity and realizing a clean and authoritative government. It is hoped that this benchmarking activity can be an example for other faculties in Indonesia in building Integrity Zones in their respective environments.
