The Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Sumatera Utara proudly presents a World Class University Program featuring Satoko Tsuda, RN, PHN, Ph.D., an Associate Professor from the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy at Chubu University. This program will cover two critical topics through an online Zoom meeting.

 

The first topic, "Sex Education for Intellectual Disabilities and High Support Need," will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 13.30 to 15.00 AM. This session aims to provide insights into the importance of sex education for individuals with intellectual disabilities and those who require high levels of support. The second topic, "Trends and Issues of Children with Medical Care in Japan: Collaboration Between School Nurses and Nurses Working in Schools," will occur on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 08.00 to 09.30 AM. This session will explore how school nurses and healthcare professionals collaborate to address medical care needs among children in Japan.
