The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, conducted a visit to Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem Psychiatric Hospital, North Sumatra Province, on March 3, 2023. This visit aimed to strengthen collaboration in the fields of mental health nursing education, clinical practice, and research.
During the visit, discussions were held regarding opportunities for student clinical placements, mental health training, and joint initiatives to enhance the quality of mental health services. Faculty members and hospital representatives explored ways to integrate academic knowledge with practical experiences to prepare nursing students for the complexities of mental health care.
