On March 14, 2018, the Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (PILMAPRES) event was held at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). PILMAPRES was attended by the top students of the Faculty of Nursing USU, and the event aimed to showcase the competitive spirit of students who have achieved remarkable accomplishments over the past five years.
During the event, participants presented their written works in English to the best of their ability. One winner was selected to represent the faculty at the university level, where they were expected to showcase their abilities to other faculties at USU.
The winner of the PILMAPRES at the Faculty of Nursing USU was Pranciska Sitorus (2016), followed by Indira Mastura Pulungan (2016) in second place, Doni Ananda (2016) in third place, and Yolanda Valentine Napitupulu (2015) in fourth place (Hope 1). It is hoped that, after this event, the winners will serve as role models for other students, encouraging them to embrace a competitive spirit and demonstrate innovative and creative ideas.
