The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara, successfully held a public lecture titled “Current Trends in Wound Care” on March 15, 2023, to celebrate the 49th Anniversary of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI). The event occurred at the Aula FKep USU and gathered nursing students, lecturers, and healthcare professionals eager to explore the latest advancements in wound care management.
The lecture featured experienced speakers who provided valuable insights into modern wound care techniques, evidence-based practices, and innovative technologies to improve patient outcomes. Participants were introduced to holistic approaches in wound care, emphasizing the importance of integrating compassion, knowledge, and advanced methods to enhance healing processes.
This event celebrated nurses' significant contributions to healthcare and served as an opportunity for knowledge sharing and skill enhancement. The Faculty of Nursing remains committed to fostering professional development and ensuring nursing graduates are equipped with the latest competencies to meet global healthcare challenges.
