Medan, July 30, 2026 – The Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a return visit from Onodera User Run (OUR) Medan on Thursday (July 30) at 3:00 p.m. WIB at the Faculty of Nursing. The meeting was attended by three representatives from Onodera User Run (OUR) Medan and warmly received by the faculty leadership. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and strategic collaboration in preparing nursing graduates with the competencies and competitiveness required to pursue careers in Japan.

During the productive and engaging discussion, both parties explored various areas of potential collaboration, including the enhancement of international career preparation programs, Japanese language training, professional competency development aligned with the needs of healthcare institutions in Japan, and recruitment and job placement opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Nursing USU. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange information on the growing demand for professional nurses in Japan and strategies to prepare graduates who meet international competency standards.

The leadership of the Faculty of Nursing USU expressed appreciation for the return visit by Onodera User Run (OUR) Medan as a reflection of the shared commitment to expanding international career pathways for students and alumni. Through this strengthened partnership, the faculty hopes that more graduates will have the opportunity to build successful careers in Japan while gaining valuable professional experience in internationally recognized healthcare institutions.
