The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a performance contract signing for the faculty leadership, study programs, and departments as a commitment to improving the quality of governance, academic services, and institutional performance targets. The activity was held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. WIB in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Nursing, USU, and was attended by faculty leaders, heads of study programs, and department representatives.

The signing of the performance contracts was part of an effort to align work programs across units in support of the vision and mission of the Faculty of Nursing. Through this activity, each work unit established clear directions, responsibilities, and performance indicators in implementing education, research, and community service programs.

The activity is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of providing inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable education. The implementation of a well-planned performance system within the Faculty of Nursing is expected to support the development of an educational process that produces professional, competent, and adaptable graduates who can respond to advances in knowledge and the needs of society.
