The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a meeting of the Indonesian Journal of Nursing Science (IJNS) on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. WIB in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Nursing, USU. The meeting served as a coordination forum for the management and development of nursing journals within the faculty.

The meeting was attended by several academics and research management personnel from the Faculty of Nursing, USU, to discuss various aspects of strengthening the journal, including the management of scientific publications and efforts to improve the quality of academic work. The meeting marked a strategic step toward strengthening the faculty’s contribution to the development of nursing science through high-quality publications.

The IJNS meeting supports SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening the culture of research and scientific publication in higher education. In addition, the activity also supports SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by enhancing a research-based innovation ecosystem and promoting the development of knowledge.
